Dr. Maryellen Ruth brings over 15 years of experience in diagnostic, educational, and solution-focused therapeutic services to The Kowalchick Group. Her clinical expertise spans both public and private sectors, including leadership roles in diagnostic services within group practices and independent schools.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Ruth has served as a consultant to independent school admissions and placement offices, as well as to college and university counseling programs. Her insight into both learning profiles and educational systems makes her a uniquely valuable guide for families navigating complex decisions.
A relational and collaborative leader, Dr. Ruth is known for her thoughtful, honest approach to assessment and planning. She has lectured widely on topics including Learning Differences, ADHD, Executive Functioning, Autism, and Emotional Regulation—offering both clinical depth and practical guidance.
